Special postal stamp „Topography of Terror“

The special postal stamp of the “Topography of Terror” (Topographie des Terrors) was released alongside the 25th anniversary of the historical documentation centre in Berlin Mitte. The subject of the stamp is the exhibition building from Heinle, Wischer und Partner.

“The main focus lies on the abstract flat-roofed building. Elements of the image and the typography do not follow any symmetry. The enlarged newspaper grid shows the topography of the property. The way the stamp is designed creates a documentary atmosphere.” (Prof. Beyrow, FH Potsdam)
